Product: the store manager

Sunday evening, April 27 2014, I entered Mcdonalds with a friend of mine in marble arch London, we had made an arrangement to meet another friend who was waiting for us. He had been sitting there expecting us for a little while. When we met him we sat for a few minutes deciding what to eat for only a few minutes. Within a short time a staff member arrived and addressed my friend saying that he had to leave cause he had not ordered anything. Our friend, by the way, is Jamaican, I wonder if that had anything to do with the staff member's attitude. I explained that we were all going to order something in a minute and there was no need for this attitude. My friend went to complain to the manager Mr Ali and he was told that macdonalds is not a place for the homeless! In the meantime when I was ordering some food the previous staff member informed me that I should take my food as take away and leave immediately with my friends. I requested that he should give us a little time to finish our food. His reaction was to call the police who arrived in a few minutes. The police arrived a in few minutes and they were very polite and even asked the staff not to be so agitated and aggressive but they also said that since this was a macdonalds premise it was within their rights to ask us to leave and we did without any further confrontation. The cctv cameras can clearly show that I had been only a few minutes on the premise and because my Jamaican friend had been there waiting a little longer there was no call to ask us to leave calling us homeless. The funny thing is that all the three of us are in good employment, clean and well behaved so there was certainly no call to ask us to leave calling us homeless!
